'WIDE ANGLE' PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION AT THE KIRKGATE CENTRE IN SHIPLEY
Here I'm exhibiting a series of 11 Cyanotypes on tracing paper. I loved the idea of using this simple technique to bring a series of fashion drawings back to life. Looking at Georgian fashion has highlighted how much fashion has moved on in only 100 years. We no longer have 'court dresses' or 'morning dresses' and we couldn't imagine going to the beach in a Georgian outfit. I also liked the idea of using the sun to illuminate the Cyanotypes, which is why I chose to hang them in the windows. The exhibition is open until 16th October 2015.
